Another hard fought win for the JV girls soccer team! 9 goals scored against John Glenn Tuesday evening in the blistering cold wind. Ariana Mills, and Izzy Beatty both had 2 goals a piece. Single goals by Avery Batchelder, Molly Parsons, Brooke Hickman, JJ Sterly, and Maggie Keech. 2 assists by Lynnette Khalaf, and singles by Brooke Hickman, Izzy Beatty, JJ Sterly, and Val Garcia. Final score 9-1. Good job ladies!!
Varsity Soccer won with another shutout yesterday 5-0 at John Glenn. Molly Cote had 2 goals, with Liv McCluskey, Makenzie Simpson and Cara Wilkerson scoring 1 a piece and Chelsea Powell had an assist. McKenzie Bailey had her first shutout of the year as our keeper.
Friday, the Girls JV Soccer Team pulled off another 8-0 mercy in a tough fought win. Brooke Hickman and Molly Parsons both scored 3 goals a piece giving them each a hat trick. Single goals by Avery Batchelder and Lynnette Khalaf. Assists from Molly Parsons, JJ Sterly, Izzy Beatty, Cam Lunsford, Lynette Khalaf, Jasmin Torres-Godinez, and Megan Roth, all with 1 a piece. Goalie Julianna Blair extends her shut out record to 4 on the season.
The Varsity Baseball Team ran off with the lead late in the game in a 9-8 victory over Taylor on Friday. The Tigers were down in the top of the seventh inning when Patrick Shrader singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. The Tigers tied things up at seven when Nolan Stran doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs. The team totaled 15 hits on the day and 13 strikeouts from the mound.
The girls varsity soccer team shut out Milan on Friday 1-0. Molly Cote got the lone goal for the victory. Addy Tulik had another shutout on the season.
Brooklynn Jones threw a shutout to lead the Tigers past Taylor 12-0 on Friday. The varsity softball team secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the sixth inning. Patience Frederick, Alyssa Engle, Shelby Yeoman, Veronica Morrison and Brooklynn Jones each had RBI's in the frame.
The Varsity tennis team defeated John Glenn 9-0 yesterday. Dasha Igonin at #1 singles and Ella Garland and Bella Marek at #1 doubles all turned in strong performances.
Girls Varsity Soccer now has a 5-0 record with a win over Fordson yesterday. A shutout by Addy Tulik and McKenzie Bailey helped solidify our win. Goals were scored by Makenzie Simpson, Chloe Abney, Molly Cote and Rachel Riley. Assists came from Chelsea Powell, Makenzie Simpson and Kaylee Rupnow.
Girls JV Soccer had a big win against Fordson on Thursday. Scoring goals were Cam Lunsford, with one of those being a corner kick into the goal, giving her a hat trick for the night, Molly Parsons, Brooke Hickman, Maggie Keech, and Avery Batchelder . Assists for the night came from Avery Batchelder, Molly Parsons, and an impressive 3 assists from JJ Sterly. Goalie Julianna Blair added another shutout with a score of 8-0.
JV Baseball splits a doubleheader with John Glenn on Wednesday. The Tigers put up an impressive 12 runs in their win during game one but weren't able to do the same in game two.
Varsity Baseball improved to 2-2 in league play this week by sweeping John Glenn on Wednesday. They scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to come back and secure the win.
Big Win for Varsity Softball on Wednesday. Brooklynn Jones threw a shutout as the Tigers defeated John Glenn 15 - 0 on Wednesday. Patience Frederick, Veronica Morrison, Brooklynn Jones and Grace Dembny all had multiple hits.
Boys Lacrosse had a disappointing 1 - 17 loss to Canton Wednesday night. Chris Warren scored the only goal for the Tigers.
Tuesday night, our Girls Varsity Soccer Team beat Stevenson 2-0. This is the first time our Varsity has claimed victory over Stevenson. Goals scored by Chelsea Powell and Makenzie Simpson. Makenzie also had an assist, as did Chloe Abney. Addy Tulik had another shutout with the win.
Varsity softball split a doubleheader with Churchill on Tuesday. Game 1- The Tigers prevailed 9-6. Chloe Solomon, Patience Frederick and Brooklynn Jones all had multiple hits for the Tigers. Game 2- The Tigers lost 3-12 to the Chargers.
The girls' Varsity tennis team defeated Livonia Franklin 6-3 yesterday. Janae Troupe, Dasha Igonin, Phia Melidoisian, and Keely Warren swept the singles flights in straight sets. Come support the team next Tuesday, April 18th as they take on Wayne Memorial at home at 4:00.

Our varsity softball team swept Ann Arbor Pioneer in a doubleheader on Saturday.
Game 1: Brooklynn Jones threw a gem for the Tigers, allowing zero runs and besting Pioneer by a score of 7-0. Grace Dembny, Patience Frederick, Veronica Morrison, and Amber Spicer all collected multiple hits
Game 2: Patience Frederick earned the 12 -2 win for the Tigers. The righty went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out four and walking one. Chloe Solomon threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Solomon recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Tigers. Brooklynn Jones was dialed in at the plate, tallying four hits and leading the Tigers to a win over Pioneer. Brooklynn Jones singled in the first, doubled in the fifth, singled in the sixth, and tripled in the seventh. Brooklynn Jones, Veronica Morrison, Alyssa Engle and Amber Spicer all collected multiple hits for the Tigers.
