Dale Maki has distinguished himself by professional accomplishment by building a significant reputation for his work with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). He currently serves as the Area Director for China, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Dale played a crucial role in helping the United States retrieve its surveillance plane that made the emergency landing at the Chinese air base on Hainan. Dale’s most significant contributions, however, have been unpublicized and include his efforts to open up and maintain Chinese Markets for millions of dollars worth of U.S. agricultural products.
