The 2023 senior awards are happening now at Belleville High School. Honoring the top 10 academic students as well as high achievers in every content area, it is a day to celebrate the hard work of students across the building.

Varsity Girls Soccer wins first round against Lincoln 9 - 0. Rachel Riley scored 3 goals and had an assist, Molly Cote had two goals and one assist, Chloe Abney with 2 goals, Vanessa Slone and Molly Parsons each netted a goal. Other assists came from Makenzie Simpson, Megan Mihaly, Aubrie Adcock, and Claire Davis with one a piece. Olivia McCluskey finished with 2 assists. Our next game is 7pm Tuesday at Lincoln High School
Brooklynn Jones threw a shutout to lead the Tigers past Wyandotte Roosevelt 8 - 0 yesterday. The Tigers secured the victory thanks to five runs in the third inning. The Tigers offense was led by Brooklynn Jones, Patience Frederick, Alyssa Engle, Kendall Volk and Tavia George, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Our Varsity Girls Soccer Team won their final league game yesterday 10-0 vs Wayne. Scoring highlights were from Rachel Riley with 3 goals, Molly Cote with 2 goals and Chelsea Powell, Chloe Abney, Olivia McCluskey, Aubrie Adcock and Cara Wilkerson with 1 goal a piece. Assists from Evie Lopez with 2, Olivia McCluskey, Claire Davis, Kenzie Simpson, Kaylee Rupnow, Payton Mathis, Aubrie Adcock and Vanessa Slone with 1 each. MacKenzie Bailey had another shutout.
Varsity Boys Lacrosse defeated Allen Park in the last regular season game 5-2 on Wednesday. Goals were scored by Tanner Bailey, Blade Wallman, and Broderick Yensch.
Varsity softball shut out Wayne Memorial on Wednesday. Chloe Solomon threw a no-hitter to lead the Tigers past the Zebras 16-0 in game one. Big bats in the second inning were led by walks by Brooklynn Jones, Shelby Yeoman, and Savanna Barone, a single by Alyssa Engle, and an error on a ball put in play by Solomon.
In game two, Veronica Morrison and Kendall Volk worked together and didn't allow a single hit, as the Tigers defeated Wayne Memorial 17-0. Chloe Solomon had a homer in the third inning. Chloe Solomon, Brooklynn Jones, Amber Spicer & Veronica Morrison each collected multiple hits.
Last night our Varsity Girls Soccer Team beat Dearborn 3-2 which sets our record at 15-1. More importantly is we won the KLAA East league title. First time for our Team. Goals scored by Makenzie Simpson, Chelsea Powell and Claire Davis. Assists by Molly Cote, Kaylee Rupnow and Claire Davis. Congrats to our League Champs!

JV girls soccer defeated Fordson 8-0 in a mercy last night. Three goals scored by Avery Batchelder, and Maggie Keech, giving them both hat tricks, One goal by Val Garcia, and Sam Radtka. Two assists from Brooke Hickman and one from Maggie Keech. Great job ladies!
Varsity Softball Blows Out Cabrini Thanks To Big Third Inning. The Tigers scored seven runs in the third on its way to a 13-1 victory over Cabrini on Tuesday. The batters contributing to the big inning included Veronica Morrison, Grace Dembny, Alyssa Engle, and Caitlynn Reed, all knocking in runs in the inning. Brooklynn Jones got the win for the Tigers. Varsity Softball swept Livonia Franklin 3 -1 & 12 - 4 on Monday. Grace Dembny and Veronica Morrison each racked up multiple hits for the Tigers. In game two, the Tigers notched six runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower was led by Chloe Solomon, Brooklynn Jones, and Amber Spicer, all driving in runs in the frame. Brooklynn Jones socked a home run in the second inning.
The varsity softball team won both games on Saturday. They shutout Melvindale 14 - 0. Chole Solomon homer twice in the third inning. In game two against Grosse Ile, Brooklyn Jones earned the win on the mound, surrendering six runs on seven hits, striking out ten. The Tigers prevailed 11 - 6.
Our Varsity Girls Soccer Team suffered their first loss of the season to Stevenson last night 2-0. After a scoreless first half 0-0, our efforts were just shy in the second half. This sets our record at 12-1 and still first place in the league.
