Varsity Lacrosse achieved their first victory this season with a 16-4 win against Swartz Creek with goals from Kyle Mikulski, Jack Foster, Preston Nicks, Austin Conley, Ethan Lommerse, and Carter Schofield. The Tiger’s defense led by Josh Jeng, Noah Kilmark, and Nate Clark held Swartz Creek scoreless in the second half.

JV Girls Soccer boosted their record to 4-1-1 with another win over Franklin 5-1. Franklin took the lead early on a penalty kick and we were down 0-1. Our equalizer came from Avery Batchelder which set us on a come back. Goals from Aaliyah Wilkerson, Lily Adcock and netting her first goal of the year, Jackie Torres made the score 4-1 at half. The second half went back and forth until Maddie Yoder finished a left foot shot into the far corner of the net, giving us a 5-1 lead and a final goal. Our next game will be on the road vs Churchill on Tuesday, May 4th at 5:30 pm.
The Belleville Varsity tennis team beat Wane Memorial 9-0 on Friday. Alyssa Melidosian, Janae Troupe, and Hailey McCloskey all had standout wins at singles, while Avni Patel and Dasha Igonin won a hard-fought three-set match at #1 doubles. JV went undefeated as well. Kyler Warren didn't allow a single run as the Varsity Baseball Team defeated the Fordson Tractors 25-0 on Friday. Warren allowed just two hits. The Tigers put up 20 runs in the fourth inning. Belleville's big bats were led by Warren, Brad Folks, Cameron McKiddie, Zack Dorton, Jacob Piccolo, and Warren, all knocking in runs in the inning.
JV Girls Soccer battled to a 1 - 1 tie at home vs Dearborn yesterday. A perfect corner kick from Cara Wilkerson set up our goal from Derricka McCarter. Her first goal in her season debut. A late goal before the half, from Dearborn, set the game tied. The second half had a great handful of scoring opportunities, but we couldn't break the tie. Our defense was phenomenal as always anchored by Ryane Ward, Shyanne Borders, Cam Lunsford and our center backs Alivia Johnston and Jackie Torres. Both Jackie and Alivia having a career day locking down their offensive attacks. At the mid-way point in the season, our record stands at 3-1-1
Our next game is Wednesday, April 28 5:30 at Franklin in Livonia.
Yesterday in a snowstorm, the varsity girls' soccer team traveled to John Glenn and defeated the home team by a score of 9-0. Molly Cote had four goals, Rachel Riley added three, Breanna McCluskey and Elly Mann each scored one as the first-place Tigers raised their record to 4 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie. In their first 5 games, the Tigers have outscored the opposition 27 to 1.
The boys and girls track meet and the girls tennis matches have been postponed today, 4/20. Girls Varsity Soccer is still playing as scheduled at John Glenn High School at 5:30pm. Good Luck girls!
The Lady Tigers played three games on Saturday in the Monroe Jefferson Invitational. The Tigers asserted their will over Monroe Jefferson on their way to an easy 9-2 victory. Tigers big inning was driven by a walk by Alyssa Engle, Starlynn Kinne Adkins, and a double by Chloe Solomon. Brooklynn Jones led the team to victory in the pitcher's circle. The Tigers fell 10 - 13 to the Bears in game two. Veronica Morrison, Kendall Volk, and Alyssa Engle all managed multiple hits. The Tigers came out on top against Annapolis, 17-12 in game three. The offensive firepower was led by Brooke Kinzel, Savanna Barone, Veronica Morrison, Kayla Hamilton, Brooklynn Jones, and Alyssa Engle, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the third inning. Chloe Solomon earned the win for the Tigers. Solomon allowed five hits and 12 runs while striking out 11.
Another victory for JV Girls Soccer. A battle in the first half left us with 11 shots, but no goals. Our 2nd half came alive with a more controlled and settled game. Our scoring came from two penalty kicks. MacKenzie Bailey and Liliana Adcock both netting their first goals of the season helped our team get on the board. Once again Avery Batchelder sent a 20 yard shot into the net to make it 3-0. Finally Brooke Hickman slammed home a rebound to get us up 4-0. Alivia Johnston added a beautiful shot on frame to be deflected in off Brooke Hickman, giving Alivia the assist and Brookes second goal of the game. Making her debut start as goalie, Shyanne Borders posted the shutout turning back multiple shots.

JV Baseball splits with Dearborn. Game one 12 - 8 Luke Bodenham led things off on the pitcher's mound for the Tigers. The ace lasted five innings, allowing one hit and five runs while striking out 11. Game two the Tigers struggled to get their offense going, getting easily dispatched by Dearborn, 15-0. Gunnar Rochon had a single in the second inning.
Varsity Baseball beats Dearborn in Doubleheader last night. Game one Demarion Owens earned the 7 - 3 victory on the pitcher's mound for the Tigers. Owens surrendered three runs on six hits over five innings, striking out 12 and walking one.
Kyler Warren was brilliant on the mound, as Warren threw a no-hitter to lead the Tigers past Dearborn 17-0 in game two. The righthander surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out eight and walking one.
Varsity Softball takes the Doubleheader over Dearborn in a Blow-Out Victory last night, 10 - 1 & 12 - 1 . Brooklynn Jones was brilliant in the pitcher's circle, as Jones threw a no-hitter to lead the Tigers past Dearborn 10-0. Chloe Solomon pitched game one to victory. Solomon allowed one hit and one run over five innings, striking out nine. Great job Lady Tigers!!!

Tremendous effort today by both the mens and womens track and field teams at the Patriot Relays. Lots of medals were won and both teams finished in 3rd place overall. Congratulations on your accomplishments in your first meet in 2 years!
JV Girls Soccer: BHS 5 - Churchill 0
Our second victory of the season and another shutout to add. We went up with our first goal coming off the foot of Arianna Mills. After firing a long range shot and just too high, Cara Wilkerson connected on a penalty kick to make it 2-0. After halftime we continued our scoring with one more goal from Cara Wilkerson. Maddie Yoders first game on the field was highlighted with 2 goals to seal the 5-0 win. Kenzie Bailey posted another shutout with multiple impressive saves. With a steady rain for most the game, we did very well and really adjusted better for the second half. We play at Stevenson next Tuesday, April 13 at 5:30
