There will be Boys Basketball Tryout Meetings after school on Thursday October 28th. Boys interested in trying out for Varsity will meet in Room 219 with Coach Trumpour. Boys interested in trying out for Junior Varsity or Freshman will meet in Room 218 with Coach Darty. There will be a JV/Freshmen open gym afterwards in the Aux Gym until 5 pm. If you are planning to tryout you must attend this meeting or contact the coaches ahead of time as there will be required tryout information provided. Boys Soccer ended their KLAA Regular Season as Runner-ups in the tough East Division of the Conference. Up next on the schedule is a crossover game with the Salem Rocks (Runner-Ups in the KLAA West Division) on Monday, October 11 at 5:30pm at BHS Stadium. Good Luck!

Van Buren Public Schools will be holding the Fall 2021 Parent-Teacher Conferences remotely. BHS and McBride Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held next Wednesday, October 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 14 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Conferences will be done through a website called Meet the Teacher. To have a conference with a teacher, you need only to sign up for a slot for your child using www.vbps.meetheteacher.com. The link to this site will also be posted on the BHS/McBride website in the bulletin board section.
Once you sign in, you will see each of the teachers for each of your students, as well as the ability to manually schedule conference times for your student. On the day of the conferences, you need only sign back into that same website and begin the conferences that will be ready for you.

For the remainder of the 2021 Varsity football season, High School students will be required to show their Student Identification in order to purchase a ticket for admission into the game. Varsity girls volleyball remained undefeated tonight in KLAA play with a 3-0 win over Wayne on Parents Night.
