JV Girls Soccer Team won their game vs Dearborn 1 - 0 yesterday. Cara Wilkerson sent in a direct shot with 12 minutes left in the game to seal the victory. Our record is now 5 - 1 and set the team at the top of our league in first place. JV plays Franklin away on Tuesday, May 3rd 5:30.
Varsity Softball socked two home runs yesterday against Taylor HS. Chloe Solomon had a long ball in the first inning and Brooklynn Jones put one out in the fourth inning. Alyssa Engle, Chloe Solomon, Brooklynn Jones, and Kendall Volk each had multiple hits. The Lady Tigers celebrated a 15-5 victory over Taylor.
Belleville Lacrosse achieved it’s third win of the season in a 16-12 victory over Brighton with goals from Kyle Mikulski, Austin Conley, Jack Foster, and Tanner Bailey.

Varsity Baseball split with Dearborn last night. In game one Nolan Stran led the Tigers with two hits in three at bats. Tigers 4 Pioneers 13. Andrew Matheny had all the right stuff in game two for the Tigers, allowing zero runs and besting Dearborn by a score of 11-0. DeMarion Owens went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Belleville in hits.
JV Girls Soccer Team mercied John Glenn yesterday 10-0 in the first half.
Goals were scored by Jaclyn Sterly, Cara Wilkerson, Izabella Beatty, Samantha Radtka, Molly Parsons, Valeria Garcia, Bryanna Wilkerson, Brooke Hickman, Camryn Lunsford and Jacqueline Stack. Our record is now 4-1. Next Wednesday we take on a tough Dearborn team at home 5:30 pm.
JV Baseball racked up 20 hits in the first game against Dearborn last night 13 - 7. Andrew Folks, Patrick Shrader, Michael Sancho, Cameron Blair, Kasey Settles, and Brett Wallman all collected multiple hits for the Tigers. Shrader and Folks each collected four hits to lead the Tigers. Andrew Folks led Belleville with six stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 17 stolen bases. The Tigers were hot again in game two putting up six runs in the second inning. Brett Wallman, Cameron Suvada, Kasey Settles, Johnathan Hatcher, Leyland Reed, and Folks each collected one hit to lead. Tigers 8 Pioneers 3
Last night the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team hosted Westland John Glenn and defeated the Rockets by a score of 8-0. Molly Cote and Chelsea Powell each scored twice, and Makenzie Simpson, Emily Wisniewski, Emily Michelin, and Gabby Revels each chipped in with one goal. Addison Tulik earned the shoutout for the Tigers, who saw their record improve to 6 wins and 1 loss. In those seven games, the team has scored 47 goals and only given up 2.

The Ecology club members celebrated Earth Day this week by handing out Earth day stickers for reusable water bottles and suckers at lunch.

Molly Cote and Breanna McCluskey scored two goals each, and Olivia McCluskey, Makenzie Simpson, and Rachel Riley each tallied one. Gabby Revels and Addison Tulik shared the shutout, as the Tigers raised their record to five wins and one loss. The team plays again tomorrow at home against Westland John Glenn at 7 PM.
JV Girls Soccer improved their record to 3-1 with a win over Fordson 6-0 yesterday. Eden Varney, and Ariana Mills scored a goal a piece. Molly Parsons and Cara Wilkerson both had 2 goals. McKenzie Bailey had another clean sheet, not allowing any goals for the 2nd game in a row. Izabella Beatty, Bryanna Wilkerson, Ava Davis and Jacqueline Stack set up a defensive front to help support our shut out.
Girls JV Soccer shut out Stevenson 3 - 0 Thursday afternoon. Goals came from Molly Parsons, Aubrie Adcock and Eden Varney. MacKenzie Bailey helped solidify the victory with another shut out for her 2nd of the season.
Thursday night the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team traveled to Livonia Stevenson and suffered their first loss of the year by a score of 2-1. Breanna McCluskey scored for the Tigers, who took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but the Spartans came back with two goals in the second half to take the win in the hard-fought match. The loss dropped the team’s record to 4-1 and 3-1 in the league. The next game is tomorrow at home vs. Fordson.
Belleville Lacrosse achieved its second win of the season with a 18-8 victory against Lincoln with goals from Austin Conley, Kyle Mikulski, Jack Foster, and Eli Jeng.

Varsity Softball snagged a late lead and defeated Salem 11-7 yesterday. The Tigers were down 7-6 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Kendall Volk singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Chloe Solomon, Brooklynn Jones, Veronica Morrison, and Tavia George all had multiple hits for the Tigers.
Brooklynn Jones shut down Pioneer, throwing a complete game shutout and leading the Tigers to a 4-0 victory on Friday. The Tigers tallied six hits on the day. Veronica Morrison and Shelby Yeoman all managed multiple hits for Belleville. Morrison went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.
