Van Buren Public Schools was notified by the Washtenaw Sheriff's Office that the unmarked bus this morning was a new transportation provider for another school. The authorities noted that this was not an abduction scenario.
An unmarked school bus has been reportedly seen stopping in the West Willow neighborhood trying to pick up students. Do Not Allow your students to approach any bus not clearly marked with Van Buren Public Schools on it. Police have been contacted.

Reminder - Tomorrow is our Hungry Howies puzza night fundraiser. All orders at the Belleville Hungry Howies that mention Owen Intermediate will give us 10% of the proceeds for those orders! Join us at Open Owen & have your pizza delivered to Owen to eat in the cafeteria. The gym, computer labs, & library will all be open. This is a family event-Parent supervision is required. Please do not drop off your students. Join us from 5 to 7 PM!
