Students will be required to wear masks and sanitize before getting on the bus. They will have assigned seats and sit with family members. Windows will be opened for air circulation when possible and buses will be disinfected in between each run.

Just like doctors, students will be taught to "scrub in" before entering their classroom. This will help keep the classroom safe. Teach your child about good hand washing habits such as getting both sids of their hands and in between their fingers. Practice makes perfect.

Hand washing and sanitizing are essential to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The district will place additional mobile hand washing stations and sanitizing stations in the building. Additionally, every classroom has a sanitizer station. We will wash our hands often.

Due to the virtual option for school, our class sizes will be reduced. This will provide us more space in the classrooms. Every attempt will be made to have students 6 feet apart from each other. It is important we do our best to socially distance the students.

Covid Tip: Masks will be required when students return to school. Parents will be requested to purchase them for their child. Start now and practice wearing it for extended periods of time. Get comfortable with it. Each day extend the amount of time they are wearing it.

VBPS PARENTS! Tonight, the school board approved a recommendation from the Superintendent to move the first day of school for the 2020-2021 school year to Monday, September 14th. This is for ALL VBPS students - remote, in-person, and BOS. Please remember that you must submit your choice for either in-person or remote learning for your child for the 2020-2021 school year NO LATER THAN MONDAY, AUGUST 17TH. This choice determines whether your child(ren) will be in-person 5 days a week or fully remote. You do not have to make the same choice for each child in your family. If you do not make a selection, your child(ren) will be placed in our remote learning program. Also, this year you must register in advance for school bus service.
