Families of Van Buren Public Schools,
Please take a moment to complete the survey, found at bit.ly/vbpsparentsurvey, as it will ask you to provide feedback about your thoughts about what went well and what did not during the time that remote learning occurred. Although we are uncertain what school will look like in the fall, your responses will assist our district re-entry committee to develop plans for the fall. If you have more than one child, please complete this form for each child. There will an opportunity at the end of the survey to submit another one. Please submit your responses no later than June 12. Thank you!.
Try some of these activities in the month of June to enhance motor skills.
This is a message from Jeff Moore, Director of Instruction at Van Buren Public Schools. Today, I am sharing with you information about a new full-time schooling online option for Van Buren Public Schools students.
Regardless of what school will look like next year, our district will be providing an option for students to participate in a full-time, online virtual school next year. The new Belleville Online School (B.O.S.) will be available for all students from kindergarten through the 12th grade. Families who choose to register their students in the program will have a virtual platform that will provide a teacher of record as well as a mentor. Additionally, students will be provided their own Chromebook for the duration of the time they are in the program.
For more information, please visit: https://bit.ly/vbpsonlineschool. This information, including how to enroll, can also be found at the top of our district webpage at vanburenschools.net under “Online School Info”. Or please feel free to contact Dan Wright at dwright@vanburenschools.net or myself at jmoore@vanburenschools.net
