Kindergartners - Learning for Life Kindergarten children want to learn. They want to make sense of the world in which they live. Their desire to do and see everything cannot be denied. In the Van Buren Public Schools all-day kindergarten program, your child will have the opportunity to learn, see, and do in a safe, nurturing environment. Studies have shown children who attend all-day kindergarten are better prepared academically and socially for life's challenges. That being said, let us not forget kindergartners can also be noisy, silly, and sensitive.
